AF ON/OFF (AREA EUR ONLY)
When in AREA EUR tuning mode, the
AF” RDS func on (as a default) will
be ac ve, and the unit will search for
the next strongest sta on when the
one you’re listening to gets weak (FM
only). When AREA EUR is selected, this
func on appears on the sub-menu,
allowing you choose AF ON or AF OFF.
IMPORTANT: When switching the tuner to AREA EUR mode, your STORED radio
presets will be erased and the clock will change to military/24 hour me.
Stereo/Mono
When listening to the AM/FM tuner,
you can access the Stereo/Mono
op on. Selec ng between stereo
and mono can aid in listening to weak
FM radio sta ons that keep switching
between Stereo and Mono modes.
Selec ng mono in this case will pre-
vent this, so you can reliably listen to
the sta on. The symbol appears
on the LCD when a strong stereo
signal is received.
Local/DX
When listening to the FM tuner, you
can access the LOCAL/DX (distant)
op on. Press and hold the SEL (right
center sha knob) and release when
you see the menu. Selec ng between
the local and distant se ngs can aid
in listening to weak FM radio sta ons
or compensate for sta ons that have
too strong of a signal.
